Submerged – 30 Second Game Review

A girl seeks a way to save her brother in a flooded world. To do that, she must explore a desolate yet beautiful city by climbing buildings and collecting survival crates.

Great premise, terrible execution. Buildings are repetitive, mechanics are dull and it’s just plain boring. Do the same thing over and over again and do it slowly. The backstory however is pieced together in a creative way, with scattered pictograms you collect that lets you know what happened to your family and the world.

But even though it looks good, 10 minutes is enough to see everything there is to see.
